Lead Sheet & Plate

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Lead Sheets

Jamestown North America offers highly customized sheet lead in various thicknesses, widths and lengths.  The most common thickness for sheet lead ranges from 1/32” to 1/8”.   We can produce sheet lead based on your custom needs or we can supply common sheet sizes, such as 30”x30”, 3’x3’, 4’x7’ and 4’x8’.

1. Pure/Corroding grade (can meet QQL and ASTM specs)
2. Chemical (Copper Bearing) grade (can meet QQL and ASTM specs)
3. Antimonial grade (can meet AMS-L-18331A spec)

Lead Extrusion

Lead Plate

Lead Plates are commonly used as a permanent installation to line walls, floors, and ceilings, along with medical, industrial, nuclear, and transportation applications. Lead Plates are preferred because:

• The durability of lead provides a long life cycle, which means fewer replacement costs over time.
• The thicker plates are more rigid than sheet lead.
• The destiny of lead also lends itself to natural sound reduction and vibration control.

Lead Bricks

Lead Bricks are often chosen by the medical, industrial, and construction industries because the high density of lead. Lead bricks are typically found in radiation therapy and nuclear shielding applications but can also be used for ballast weights and counterbalances. Jamestown North America offers three types of lead bricks: Flat (straight edge), Cast Interlocking Bricks and Machined Interlocking Bricks.

Lead Pig & Ingot

Lead Pig, Lead Ingot and Lead Wool all fall under the umbrella terms of caulking lead. Caulking lead can be used for a wide variety of applications

Antimonial Lead

Jamestown North America offers highly customized Antimonial sheet lead and Antimonial plate lead products in a variety of thicknesses, widths and lengths.  Our Antimonial lead products can meet MIL-L-18831 and AMS Federal specifications.

Jamestown North America offers a wide variety of other lead products, ranging from Lead Extrusions, Lead Roof Flashings, Lead Babbitt, Lead Repair Collars, Lead Foil, Acoustical Lead, and Lead Lined Drywall and Plywood.

Lead Weights

Lead Ballasts, Lead Counterweights, Lead Bridge Weights and Miscellaneous Weights have been adopted for weight distribution on projects for years in the marine, construction and industrial markets.
