Jamestown lead plates are flexible, high-density materials engineered for applications requiring precise conformity and reliable performance. Ideal for radiation shielding, lining systems, and construction uses, they deliver consistent thickness, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation across demanding environments.

Available Sizes

  • Plate lead Thicknesses – from  1/4” to 5” thick, custom thicknesses available
  • Plate length and width – cut to length and width per your specification

Material Grades, Alloys & Purity

  • Pure/corroding Grade (Grade B) – Typically 99.5% lead, suitable for general applications where formability and basic performance are required
  • Chemical Grade (Grade C) – Typically 99.9% lead (copper bearing), offering improved corrosion resistance and strength for more demanding environments
  • Antimonial (Hard) Lead – Contains approximately 5-7% antimony, increasing strength, hardness, and structural performance

About

Lead Plates are commonly used as a permanent installation to line walls, floors, and ceilings, along with medical, industrial, nuclear, and transportation applications. Lead Plates are preferred because:
